The mission of IPN is to ensure public health and safety by
education, monitoring, and support to nurses in the State of Florida.
What We Do
IPN ensures public health and safety by providing education, monitoring and support to nurses in the State of Florida.
IPN receives referrals from multiple sources including employers, treatment providers, evaluators, and attorneys. IPN also receives referrals directly from the FL Department of Health and the Board of Nursing. Nurses may also self-refer to IPN.
IPN provides a vast network of weekly in-person and virtual substance use disorder and mental health-focused nurse support groups that are led by trained group ‘facilitators. These facilitators assist IPN participants in learning about healthy coping mechanisms, recovery techniques, and promotion of support group measures.
